Since December 19th 2016, the Democratic Republic of Congo is barely surviving under an illegitimate and illegal government. Both the "president" Joseph Kabila and his entire government's mandate have expired but they decided to stay in power by force; putting the country in a deep and chaotic crisis:
Entire villages are forced to flee and leave everything behind them. Because of complete lack of security in the whole country, cities barely have any electricity, clean water, or internet; children do not have anymore access to proper education, and if the population tries to stand up and protest, they usually end up arrested like it was for House Representative Mr. Franck Diongo Shamba, and/or killed by either the country's police or presidential guard.

(Mr. Frank Diongo Shamba, one of the most courageous opponent to the Kabila regime, is a Congolese House Representative and president of the political party Mouvement Lumumbiste Progressiste - MLP. He was arrested, tortured, and unjustly condemned to prison because he dared standing for the people, for the DRC, for the thruth).

Women and children are often raped while their husbands/father are forced to sit and watch (it is estimated that 45 women gets raped by either the military or some so called rebel group per day in the DRC); but it never just stops there, mutilations is often performed on the victims as well.
What is happening in the DRC under the Kabila's government is a silent Holocaust. Do we really want those "leaders", this group of people who do not bother trying to stop the numerous crimes, murders, and violence in the DRC; those who in fact creates and sustain those actions, being part of the United Nations Human Right Council?
